The Path Gets Narrow -- Thought for the Day

My Spirit channeled Teacher (since 1985) warned me that the brighter we get, the more lonely we will be..... at least in the human world. Therapists and 12 Step Programs warn the same. Many people drop out of spiritual practice, therapy, or program when the work of self discovery, of transcendence starts to really hit close to home. When we finally profoundly face our humanity and our flaws in order to deeply clear out  sludge which will in turn create Sacred Space in us, and therefore allow more Light of Spirit to enter into our Soul and our Life ......many quit.... in fact run away......fast.  For those who proceed, we suddenly find our road quite free of human  traffic-- sadly.  Thankfully our relationship with Spirit grows exponentially to fill Heart and Soul.  Those few treasured souls I find on that bejeweled and barren road.......are Beloved Companions.
